Your edits to Canaan Dog

[edit]

Hello, I have paid attention to your edits on Canaan Dog.

I understand that the recognition of certain states is a very sensitive issue for some people, but Wikipedia aims to be factual. The source for the alternative names of the Canaan dog which Wikipedia cites (Man Writes Dog: Canine Themes in Literature, Law and Folklore, William Farina pages 58-59) lists "Palestinian Pariah Dog" as one of the names of the breed, and does not list "Israeli Pariah Dog". It is necessary to write out exactly what is in the citation, rather than make up information. --Corsican Warrah Israeli Pika 14:31, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Well pika Im not sure where you get your info but a country by the name of Palestine doesn't exist. You must have found an Arabic written book and copied its contents or something like that. If you read further on same wiki page and see country of origin it is saying israel.

Nope. Author's a white man from Indiana. Doesn't matter whether it's actually a country or not, if that's its name, that's its name. Sumanuil (talk) 05:03, 31 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
