Information icon Hello, I'm Bonadea. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Rinku Rajguru, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 18:27, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, regarding this edit, while I know you meant well, sourcing is very important at Wikipedia, and we need to be sure that we're using quality references. We do not accept user-generated content, for instance, blog posts, forum posts, IMDb, Wikia, or even Wikipedia as the source of content. Information must be supported by reliable sources, namely ones that have established reputations for fact-checking and clear editorial policies. Thank you. Please stick to mainstream news sites. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:22, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reordering of infobox parameters at Rinku Rajguru

[edit]

Hi, please don't reorder infobox parameters as you did here without providing a clear explanation for why you are doing that. In most cases this looks like an attempt to hide questionable content, like the addition of an unsourced |alma_mater= parameter. You should probably also familiarize yourself with the infobox instructions. The |home_town= parameter should only be used "if different from birthplace and residence." Thanks. Information icon Hi there, I've already brought this to your attention once before, so it's confusing why in these edits [1][2], you've again submitted blogs as references. We do not use blogs as references, because anyone with an internet connection can create a blog and call himself an expert on a subject. We also do not accept other user-generated sources like discussion forums, unverified Twitter account posts, IMDb, Wikia, even Wikipedia itself as references, for the same reasons. Please stick to mainstream published sources with established reputations for fact-checking an accuracy. This would typically include major newspapers and their websites, major magazines and their websites, etc. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:57, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning - no blogs, please

[edit]

stop Hi there, please consider this your final warning: please stop using blogs as references as you did here at List of highest-grossing Indian films.

If you are not sure of what site constitutes a blog, please ask at WP:ICTF.
