Spelling
[edit]Hi. I saw your posting on AN/I, and I've been looking through your mainspace edits. Please take this in the spirit it is offered in, since I have no intention of insulting you in any way, but can I suggest that spelling may not be your personal strong point, and that when you do any text editing (as opposed to reverting or fixing formatting or other valable tasks) you use a spellchecker whenever possible? As I said, I'm not trying to diss you, just thinking of the best for the project. Best, Ed Fitzgerald t / c 02:58, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
- Pardon me for asking...but what why were you looking through my edits 1. And to what "project" were you talking about? SteelersFan94 16:43, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
- I was looking through your edits because your spelling on the AN/I posting attracted my attention as being particularly bad, and I wanted to make sure you weren't editing Wikipedia articles in the same manner. The "project" is Wikipedia. Ed Fitzgerald t / c 04:06, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
Removal of unconstructive edits
[edit]Can you honestly say that I have ever removed one of your edits that you posted with the intention of helping the project and/or improving Wikipedia? You claimed earlier that you expected me to remove your edit, which is an obvious lie. I rarely remove any edits, and I have spoken out against those who do. Your edits today are nothing more than axe-grinding, however, and they have no place on Wikipedia. I, too, left WP:PW. I left well over a month to go. But I didn't need to throw a temper tantrum to do so. I encourage you to take some time away from Wikipedia until you can edit with a level head. Best wishes, GaryColemanFan (talk) 00:02, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
- Seriously, move on with your life and drop the *cough, cough* stuff. If you're not mature enough to stop the pouting and moaning, you should rethink whether or not you should be online at all. GaryColemanFan (talk) 01:01, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
