April 2024[edit]
This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Acroterion (talk) 23:55, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- I don't know why you thought that "Play Hexapuss now!" would be acceptable. Acroterion (talk) 23:56, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Acroterion, this page was in draft mode and I assumed it was not to be reviewed yet until I completed the page. I can remove the "Play Hexapuss now" line. This is my first time creating a Wikipedia page and did not think draft mode was a ready to be seen by others mode. This page was not yet in a 1st draft complete mode. Can you please undelete this page and I will complete it with a proper professional factual tone. Thanks, Steve. Stevehinan1 (talk) 00:11, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- You'll need to do better than that. You can start over from scratch, after you've read WP:NOTE, WP:RS and WP:V. Advertising may be deleted at any time. Acroterion (talk) 00:17, 27 April 2024 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]
Hello, Stevehinan1. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Acroterion (talk) 00:16, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
