Release of Dam water into the Oconee River. The Dam operators don't give a damn about citizens down river. The just release it all at one time if they get excessive rain instead of a gradual but needed release. The other day around April 1st, the last...
[edit]It went from a very low level to over 35 feet in an hour. Just a complete dump of water causing flooding of homes, property, etc on the Oconee, OcMulgee, and Altamaha Rivers. The Dam operators could care less about the effect their releases has on rural south Ga. When we need water they hold it. When we don't need it all at one time they just turn it loose. I'm fixing to get somebody's attention. I have a State Senator cousin and my father is the mayor of a city in which the Dam Releases effect. There has got to be somebody up there that needs to consider what an impact they have on people's lives on the Dam Releases. Stoned00 (talk) 09:32, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
