Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta

[edit]

A lot of people at many different sites, are saying that Vegeta cheated to go super saiyan 4 his first time, but I do not think he did. He just used the brute ray to regrow his tail, that had stopped regrowing, so he could go oozaru. Then he controlled oozaru went golden oozaru and immediately super saiyan 4, gaining the ability to go ssj4 without brute ray. Since I am a huge Vegeta fan, this really annoys me. Can anyone verify this?

That's true. But some people consider doing exactly what you described to be "cheating" because Vegeta didn't reach the transformation "naturally". However, Goku didn't reach it naturally either, if you think about it, since he had been transformed into a child at the time, and then had to have the Kaioshins pull his tail out before he could transform. Just his transformation into a child was unnatural, since it was all the result of the Black Star Dragon Balls' magic. People who claim Vegeta "cheated" aren't looking at the big picture.

I thought so! Thanks alot, it is good to know that I am not the only one that knows he didn't cheat.

its true .... vegeta does have the power to become ss4 dont worry :) ..... if he didnt he would have stayed in his oozaro and lost control but he kept it and transformed ..... if he had a tail he cudve done the same easy ..... he jus didnt at the time .. so bulma did that thing which made his tail grow like goku gt it pulled .... das dat !!! they both did it fair and square ...... you didnt see the blutz wave go on vegeta as he went ss4 he did it by himslef :) so hes truly a ss4 !!!!!!!!!!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.199.212.183 (talk) 19:13, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

SSJ4 Vegeta's Hair Color

[edit]

I am confused! I have seen some sites say vegeta SSJ4's hair is black, some say brown, and some say both! Does anyone know which is true?

It's black, however in his first appearence it was brown due to an animation error. Onikage725 12:45, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks alot, now I am no longer confused!

Dragon Ball Series

[edit]

Dragonball GT is the last series right? There are no more series after GT, as far as I know, so all this bull crap about ssj5 is a lie cause ssj4 is the highest a saiyan can achieve - only Goku and Vegeta achieve it.

That's right. SSJ5 Goku is a piece of fanart drawn to coincide with the gag Dragon Ball AF. It was nothing more than a fan based joke. Onikage725 13:22, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think that AF sucks, thank God it is fake! By the way, alot of people say that they don't accept GT, well they need to get over it. GT is real whether they want to accept it or not! I really liked ssj4 being the last level, because it is the true form of a saiyan and I personally think that Goku and Vegeta look awesome in this form.

What If There Was Another (REAL) Series After GT...

[edit]

1. Would Goku return?

I think he probablly would, being the main character and all.

2. Would Vegeta train himself to go ssj4 naturally?

I am positive that he would.

3. Would anyone else reach ssj4?

I wouldn't think so, because only full-blood saiyans can achieve it.
P.S. Anyone that has any more, or thoughts on any of the previous ones feel free to add/comment on whatever you want!
1. Not likely, as he ascended into a higher being and specifically left Earth in Vegeta's care. But then again, fan demand can work wonders.
2. Vegeta wouldn't need specific training for that. Once the form is attained, he doesn't need to become an Oozaru to use it again.
3. There's no evidence that only a full-blooded Saiyan can reach it. That whole "Half-breeds can only go SSJ2" thing is pure fan speculation. Half-Saiyans could go Oozaru, why wouldn't one with enough power be able to go Golden? The image of the Golden Oozaru was used to illustrate the legend of the Super Saiyan, and Half-Saiyans can become Super Saiyans more easily than full Saiyans. 170.163.100.196 21:46, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I see, that changes my opinion on things alot!

Can Saiyans Go SSJ4 Without Thier Tails, If They Went SSJ4 Before?

[edit]

I always thought that Vegeta and Goku could go ssj4 after they went ssj4 the first time, but a lot of people say that if they loose thier tail they can't go ssj4. Saiyans can still go ssj4 even without their tails, if they went there before, right? I always thought that since Vegeta went ssj4 once he could transform ssj4 anytime after that, but didn't in the show because he did not have enough energy left, same as Goku. He didn't need the brute ray to regrow his tail anymore, because he already attained the ability to go ssj4 without his tail. If anyone knows GT very good, and can help me verify this, please add it to this post.

I know that Vegeta could still go ssj4! How could Goku keep his tail, and Vegeta not! Does anyone think he might be still able to go ssj4 even without his tail? (never says that you have to have tail after transforming the first time) - I believe it!

did vegeta loose his poomplex if u want to know u need to be have a trigger:::P.S. What do you mean by "trigger" Onikage725?

By trigger I mean the catalyst. SSJ4 didn't require Bruit Waves. Golden Oozaru did. SSJ4 required a Golden Oozaru to have self control, to harness that power instead of letting it rampage. And after that, Goku is shown powering up into SSJ4 without the need of Bruit Waves. Just like for SSJ one needed a certain chemical response to be triggered in the body. A release of adrenaline combined with a certain intense focus. But that isn't needed afterwards. The Saiyan simply has to want to transform, and spend a short period powering up (a period of time that decreases the more the user trains with the form). Onikage725 20:17, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So do you think that if Vegeta trained himself very hard he could still go ssj4 without his tail?
I honestly doubt he'd need the tail, period. The tail was required for Golden Oozaru, because it is necessary to absorb Bruit Waves. But we see with Goku that powering up into the form once attained does not require Bruit Waves. He just changes like he would any of the other 3 forms. If he doesn't need to absorb Bruit Waves to change, then he doesn't need a tail. So aside from that first transformation, the tail seems needless. Maybe the writers were trying to suggest that he cut his own tail off, not needing it for further change, so as not to be ruled by the full moon (since he's a fully assimilated Earthling by that point)...but like so much in GT they failed to actually explain it. Onikage725 11:58, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Why do you think in episode 62 he asked Bulma to use the blutz waves again after he already transformed, and was out of power?
Because they could restore his energy. Remember when Bulma used the Bruit Wave amplifier on Golden Oozaru Bebi, and it increased his power, and restored his energy? The same thing could have been done to Vegeta to give him the energy needed to go SSJ4 again. Speaking of that: the reason why Half-Saiyajins cannot become SSJ4 is because it it STATED that one must be PURE Saiyajin to do so. That's the reason why Bebi couldn't become SSJ4 when in Vegeta's body, even though he could go Golden Oozaru. Vegeta wasn't a pure Saiyajin at that point, due to Bebi's possession, so he couldn't go SSJ4. Half-breeds can't go SSJ4. That's in response to the person up there who said that it was just "fan speculation" that Half-breeds couldn't go SSJ4.

Thanks a lot Daishokaioshin andOnikage725 for all of your help! I asked this same question at allexperts.com and Goku-Sama said if Vegeta didn't have his tail he would need the brute ray fired at him to spark the transformation, but we are still arguing theories, and will try to get to the bottom of this debate!
We finally found out the truth that the tail is NOT needed to go ssj4 after the first time, and we also found that Vegeta would not need the brute ray anymore (maybe if he is out of power/energy).
