Tang sources

[edit]

Thanks for finding sources for some of the statements in the Tang article. Do you know what statements each source backs up? The sources should be inlined using the <ref>URL</ref> tags, or introduced in the references section (see: WP:CITE). Adding them in the external links confuses their status as sources (though your edit summary is helpful in that regard). --GargoyleMT 16:24, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You said "Do you know what statements each source backs up?" I am not sure what you mean exactly. The first reference is from NASA itself and represents historical proof that Tang was used in the Gemini progeam. I sent them an email, to verify some facts and they did not respond. The second was the origin of the quite.

You added the sources to the "External link" section, but called them "sources" in your edit summary. If it's a source for a particular statement, use the tag <ref>{{cite web |title=Title |url=http://www.example.com}}</ref> to use them as a source. I've made the changes for you, see this diff: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tang_%28drink%29&diff=132917943&oldid=132537567 External links and sources two different things, I wanted to clear up any mixed messages. I'd be happy to help in any way I can, especially if I'm being confusing. --GargoyleMT 12:58, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). • What is the name of the press source you are referring to? --NeilN 19:17, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • This was a stub added as a logical description of a type of security professional with an academic background.
