If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Cubby's Hollywood Video Pizza and Tanning requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Writ Keeper 19:43, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

About your page...

[edit]

Hey, TKD! Sorry for the less-than-awesome welcome to Wikipedia that I'm giving you; I probably should've given you more time. :P The reason why I've marked your page for deletion is that the article isn't notable. Notability is Wikipedia's threshold for inclusion of new articles. A bare-bones definition of notability would be "significant coverage in multiple reliable sources that are independent of the subject". You see, the problem is that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Encyclopedias don't report on new things or publicize things; they merely provide summaries on what's already out there. I know you want to get the word out about this business, but Wikipedia just isn't the place to do it. Perhaps in the future, if the business gets the kind of coverage that notability requires, there can be a Wikipedia article on it, but it's just too soon for an article right now.

Don't worry about it, though! Wikipedia's rules are complicated at times, so nobody will hold it against you if the article is deleted. Mistakes like this happen all the time, and you had good intentions, I know. :) Don't let it get you down or drive you away! If you have any questions about this or anything else about Wikipedia, I'd be more than happy to answer them at my talk page, or you can ask the Teahouse, which is a place for new users to get help in a friendly, relaxed environment. Happy editing, and again, welcome to Wikipedia!
