Belgian flag

[edit]

Your assertion that the "state" flag of Belgium is "NEVER EVER" used isn't really backed up by the reliable sources that can be found on the Flag of Belgium page. Would you care to explain your assertion? – PeeJay 12:52, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I took this sentence literally from the page dedicated to the Flag of Belgium:
Officially, the national flag has the unusual proportions of 13:15, but is rarely seen in this configuration. Instead, a flag in a common 2:3 or similar ratio is used in most cases, even by most government bodies and official organisations. See here.
I think this says it all and should be sufficient to back up my stance. Takk Belgium (talk) 07:52, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well, considering you said that flag is "NEVER EVER" used, and the article merely says it is "rarely seen in this configuaration", I don't think it backs you up entirely. Obviously, since the 13:15 variant isn't the primary flag used by Template:Country data Belgium, it's not a big deal, but I don't think you can say it's "NEVER EVER" used. – PeeJay 15:04, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
