Imagery project

[edit]

Before you continue adding edits about this project, could you give me a link where it is discussed? I'm assuming good faith that this is a legitimate project and not something you have unilaterally created. Thanks. Ward3001 (talk) 01:43, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I will make a proposal to VillagePump and create a WikiProject but for the time being please see my talk at Wikimania conference. The talk was successful and we even got people that want to work that way. Looking forward to your comments, TaniaGilman (talk) 13:23, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your response. I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but I think you should wait for the Wikipedia community's response here (in addition to the response you got at Wikimania) before you continue adding such information to articles. I'm not arguing for or against the project, but I think other editors will object and delete your edits unless and until the project gains a more legitimate status. That leads to unnecessary conflict and possibly edit warring. I almost deleted one myself, but I decided that to give you a chance to explain first. There is no rush. If your proposed project gains acceptance, you can add your edits later, with the backing of a larger portion of the Wikipedia community. Thanks. Ward3001 (talk) 14:54, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
