Hi, I have found that you are engaging in unexplained removal of select content repeatedly as you did at Royal Challengers Bangalore without any valid reason. Also, you have been adding duplicate content in the tables repeatedly despite earlier revert as you did at Chennai Super Kings. Please refrain from making non constructive edits or such deletions. Take your time to familiarize with the policies and engage in discussions if required. Thanks! Magentic Manifestations (talk) 11:51, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Happy to engage in discussion if you can highlight which part of this is violating policy- if not, I think we need to go to a dispute resolution. Tedcla (talk) 12:07, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi,
On the reported issues, your deletion of content from the mentioned page Royal Challengers Bangalore repeatedly without due reason despite reverts from other users is a blatant violation of the guidelines. I do not see any basis or reasoning on the same.
On the content addition in the page Chennai Super Kings, it has clearly been pointed out on the comments. A table serves to provide information which is not covered in the relevant section and not to serve as a duplicate of what is already mentioned in the prose form. It would serve better if you actually take time to read the MOS and to avoid additional columns which make it difficult to read in smaller devices. Also as stated, the information in the column should conform to the MOS again (uniformity on information corresponding to the header + avoid unnecessary colorization/highlighting which do not help).
You have again added back the same without any consensus or not having adequately addressed the concerns which does not show your intention to engage in a discussion or arrive at a consensus. Also, any further repeated addition or deletions of the same content in the corresponding articles, you need to familiarize yourself with WP:3RR.
Not related, you have done content addition without any due references or citations (e.g. India–Maldives relations) which seems to be own research and the sentence formation also does not conform to the style guidelines. Please familiarize yourself with WP:Manual of Style and WP:Citing sources.

Hi,
Please can you refer to where it is a "Blatant violation of the guideline", specific policy reference would be appreciated?
With regards to RCB, point noted- will refrain from doing that but it is not something that is well known in the media and matches between RCB-CSK are relatively more low profile vs RCB-KKR/SRH due to the context of matches in various tournaments. Regardless, since you have provided legitimate citations- I will not argue this further.
With regards to CSK, it is pretty evident from the edit log that you delete anything you do not agree with it- a wikipedia principle is for everyone to contribute and share knowledge . Therefore, this is a polite reminder that the CSK page is not owned solely by yourself and neither it you who have the sole responsibility to police it.
"A table serves to provide information which is not covered in the relevant section and not to serve as a duplicate of what is already mentioned in the prose form."
As far this technicality is concerned, the relevant information yon the CSK page that you unilaterally deleted which contains the captains does present a unique information with explaining the success of each captain i.e without that information, you would nto be able to judge how Jadeja performed as captain in 2022. Therefore, I reject your argument on the prose form. Also, to add, information in tables are quickly as they provide summary vs prose. Feel free to challenge this narrative with appropriate evidence.
Re India-Maldives relation- There is evidence behind that, but can provide citations for and sentence in question is backed in article that I can provide references for. With regards to the style of language, ok- why didnt you fix it instead of deleting it? Again, why are you policing it instead of helping it froma constructive manner?
P.S This feels more like a personal issue than a policy violation issue . It is pretty evident now that you are nitpicking from my own history , rather than address the topic at hand- which is solely the "success column" for the captain table on the CSK page and this conversation should NEVER have involved other articles. Hello. Can you explain why you think this is Vandalism? The edition in question simply puts a UK flag instead of hte flag of the 4 individual countries, making it more efficient and aesthetically pleasing, while still factually correct.
A dispute process will be initiated if you fail to explain this. Tedcla (talk) 20:53, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
