Gold Rush edit

I see you are at it again. Your edits are contributing to the deception of the viewing public perpetrated by Gold Rush. You say not a single reliable or verifiable source is cited. My latest edit of references included an article by the Chilkat Valley News that used the word "scripted" in its headline. The reporting by the Chilkat Valley News is reliable and verifiable, and it leaves absolutely no doubt that the show, Gold Rush, is directed and scripted. (I suggest you familiarize your self with the terms). You also discount an audio program by Alaska Public Radio that includes first a hand account by one of the now "stars" of Gold Rush recounting how the show's producers directed him to perform for the camera. Have you listened to the recording?? The Chilkat Valley News stories referenced have only very recently gone offline due to overhaul of the newspaper's website. The stories also appear in the print version. As such, even though the articles are not currently available online, they are still RELIABLE, VERIFIABLE sources. If I am incorrect in my interpretation of Wikipedia policy regarding references, please enlighten me. I will be un-doing your edit with an explanation if I don't hear from you. First of all, please try to use the formatting tools in the editing window rather than WRITING in all CAPS as it makes you look ridiculous. Yelling through a keyboard is a waste of energy. I read the articles and listened to the interview. And all I got was that the producers wanted people to say the miners were clueless idiots. Which seems to be true. But that is not the same thing as saying that the show is following a script, like a program like Operation Repo. Clearly other users agree, despite your efforts to advance your point using synthesis of primary sources and others that do not make any statement of the show being directed and scripted. I'm sorry that you feel that the show deceived you, but it's entertainment. Move on, live your life, change the channel. Done. Have a nice day.--Terrillja talk 04:09, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
