Your Edits to Metal spinning

[edit]

Hello Terry, I noticed that you have been editing the article on metal spinning. Your edits and expertise are very welcome. However, please do not remove content about metal spinning as a manufacturing process, such as in the page introduction. The into is worded to provide a broad overview of the subject with a basic description of the spin forming process and its result. If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks for your time and efforts in the article. Iepeulas (talk) 03:31, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding link spam to the metal spinning article. Also, please stop adding your name to the picture, per wp:ownership. Wizard191 (talk) 20:50, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The link to the metal spinning website has helped 1000's of people learn more about the craft of spinning metal. isnt that the idea behind wikipedia ? sharing the knowledge. But for some reason you have took offence to this. I put my name to the image because I took the time to spin that piece just for Wiki why wouldnt I place my credit on somthing I have made.

The point of wikipedia is to be encyclopedic, as such links to educational websites are acceptable when the information on that site cannot be directly added to wikipedia, however the link you keep adding does not fit those qualifiers. See WP:EL for more information.
As for adding your "credits" to the image. That is just something we do not do here as I had noted previously per WP:Ownership. If you did not read it I will quote it for you: "Since no one "owns" any part of any article, if you create or edit an article, you should not sign it."
BTW, please do not personally attack me. If you continue them, you will be block from contributing to wikipedia. Wizard191 (talk) 13:12, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
