Hello and welcome!

Would you, perhaps, think it more appropriate to enter this term into Wikipedia's sister project Wiktionary? I feel it would belong more in a dictionary type entry rather than an encyclopedia.

Perhaps, then, you may want to expand it somewhat and make it look more like an article and explain the "melting pot" correlations. You could look through Wikipedia:Your first article and see how to do so. As it stands right now, one could argue that Tesserian violates the official Wikipedia policy Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, more specifically the section that deals with dictionary definitions which specifically states articles that contain nothing more than a definition should be expanded with additional encyclopedic content. If you need help in expanding it, feel free to ask me for it and I will do what I can to help you even though I know nothing about the subject. But I do think that this article should be either expanded or transwikied to Wiktionary.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
