Tevin Mitchell BLST 136 Black Fem Thought

Rebecca Walker was born on November 17th in 1969. The American writer, feminist, and activist has been a light beam of the Third Wave Feminism. Waller was born in Jackson, Mississippi. Due to her parents divorces she alternated every two years living in Jackson, Mississippi and San Francisco, California. After high school she attended Yale University and then San Francisco University. While in college she emerged as an activist for black women.
