First 2 sentences are opinion and do not belong in encyclopedic writing.
Also there are already pages describing In vitro fertilisation and the Oocyte it is redundant to do it here.
The first sentence of your new main body paragraph feels redundant and could be reworked to flow into your information more smoothly.
Try a shorter sub heading like "Selection Criteria"
