Removal of sourced content

[edit]

@Saurabhsaha: Satra (Ekasarana Dharma) - In this page, you are removing sourced content and inserting dubious information which isnt supported by the reference. Can i know why? Thanks Alaya12345 (talk) 12:11, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't added anything on my own. It's you who removed the text that was in the article before your edit. The content was backed by proper sources, but you even removed captions from the article mentioning the gods of Hinduism related to Satra (Ekasarana Dharma). You should discuss on the talk page before removing or correcting sourced content in an article. Saurabh{Talk} 12:38, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Saurabhsaha:: Well i restored the older version because thats what the reference says , the page seems to be vandalised by an ip editor, please go through the source, i hope you restore it to the older form Thanks! Alaya12345 (talk) 13:47, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Alaya12345: I've also noticed several of your edits over the past few days and found some striking similarities between your edits and those made by unregistered IPs, particularly the addition of 'Muang Mao' and maps without any primary references in various articles related to Assam and Northeast India. Could you clarify if these IPs are yours?

For example, in the article Nagaon district, an IP added a map of Muang Mao without proper primary references or discussion on the talk page. I reverted the edits, but you added the same map again with the same editing history. Saurabh{Talk} 14:38, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
"@Saurabhsaha:, the user @Alaya12345: has been repeatedly adding unsourced information to several of his recent edits, particularly concerning Muang Mao and Myanmar in articles related to Northeast India. Additionally, he's removing or altering the well-sourced content without providing any new reliable references, or even discussing it in talk pages. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I'm already aware of the issue, and I'll review the edits made by @Alaya12345. Please keep a close eye on the edits, and if he does the same, like removing or altering any sourced content in an article without reliable references or discussion. Bring it to my notice. Thank you for notifying me. I understand the importance of adhering to copyright policies and will ensure that any future contributions are entirely in my own words and properly sourced. I have rewritten the paragraph that you removed, citing copyrighted material, though I acknowledge there may still be some unintentional similarities. You've done well to remove it, and I will review the guidelines to avoid further. Thank you  Saurabh  Talk? 03:46, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
