Infobox road for Chinese articles[edit]
Before you make any further changes to the Chinese templates for Template:Infobox road, please realize that you have messed up the infobox for a large number of articles. There is a difference between type=G (reserved for China National Highway) and type=Expwy (reserved for Chinese Expressways). The names for all of the expressways are wrong now, and the wrong shields are appearing for China National Highway articles (e.g. provincial shield for China National Highway 201). Please stop making any further edits to the Chinese templates before testing them first. Thank you. Heights(Want to talk?) 15:17, 25 July 2013 (UTC)
- I have reverted most if not all of the errors that were caused. Again, I understand that the fact that both China National Highways and national-level expressways are prefixed with the letter "G" may have lead you to combine the type=G and type=Ex|Expwy but for the purposes of this template we are keeping them separate, as they are essentially two separate networks and have different set of shields and file names for these shields. In addition, 210px width is way too large for a shield on a page; I have reverted it to what was there previously, a height of x70px, which is standard. In the future, when you make such drastic edits that can affect multiple sets of pages at once, please test to make sure that the there were no unintended effects. - 关于高速公路图标的大小, 我也觉得现在的标志大小有点偏小, 图标上的字看不清楚, 但是我觉得210px有点太大了, 因为这些图标是方形的, 在小的屏幕上很占地方, 不像国道或者别的国家的长方形的图标. 看到中文的维基百科我可以接受它们的标准 (看上去高速公路图标是100px高度, 国道图标是130px宽度), 好像能把字看清楚, 也不算很大. 其实来说关于这些图片的大小不应该来看它们里面的内容或字清不清楚, 因为英文维基百科里面的 "Manual of Style" WP:MOSIM 有一句话说 Avoid entering textual information as images (不要在图片里输入文字信息). 所以一般性来说图标里的字看不清楚不是很大的问题, 因为大部分人会从条目的内容和标题来看高速公路的名字.
