[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. The project's content policies require that all articles be written from a neutral point of view, and not introduce bias or give undue weight to viewpoints. Please bear this in mind when making edits such as your recent edit to 2009 Honduran constitutional crisis. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Roberto Micheletti. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. --LjL (talk) 13:05, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
By you adding de facto, you are adding YOUR own viewpoint! True Honduras (talk) 19:12, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
- No. It's been discussed at length. Read the "de facto" article, and, especially, read the talkpages. Further edits without discussing them on the articles' talk pages first will be seen as disruption. --LjL (talk) 19:20, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Roberto Micheletti. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. --LjL (talk) 19:22, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Friendly note
[edit]Hi! It's not necessary to include the little information icon with your notes; we put those on template warnings to make them more visible. It's not a good idea to edit-war in an article, and in fact, we have a rule that prohibits edit-warring- repeatedly reverting others' edits can result in your being blocked from editing. Instead, we make our decisions by consensus. Just go to the article's talk page, read the discussion that's already happening there, and share your view on what wording would be most factually accurate and best comply with Wikipedia's rules. Once there's consensus with other editors, then you or someone else can make the change you agree on. When a disagreement gets really stuck, there's good ideas at WP:DISPUTE to help solve problems without having to edit war. Thanks! -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 19:23, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
People who read this article will be reading the opinion of a few people by reading "de facto". This is why people have problems understanding the situation in Honduras. Readers should know this article is in dispute. True Honduras (talk) 19:38, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
