Aysel Aslanzade (born 25 November 2004) is a former Azeri rhythmic gymnast,aerobic gymnast,ballroom dancer, specialised in all categories.
Career start history
[edit]According to her parents, Aysel showed extraordinary talents, passion for sports and music from an early age. Surprisingly, she was already dancing to music at the age of eight months. Subsequently, her parents decided to send her to the sport and she began to study ballet at the Baku Choreographic Academy. According to her parents, Aysel accidentally got into rhythmic gymnastics Aysel's mother said that on one of the walks in the park, Aysel met two twins and showed interest in the hoops with which the girls trained. This was a turning point in her life, because then she did not know that she had met the future world champions in rhythmic gymnastics - Aishan and Turkan Bayromova.Aysel's mother after consulting with the grandmother of twins, decided to sent her to rhythmic gymnastics in BGM.
Personal Life
[edit]In addition to gymnastics, she also did ballet for three years and ballroom dancing for seven years. This helped her develop grace, coordination and expressiveness, which was reflected in her performances at competitions. Every year Aysel excelled more and more in gymnastics and became one of the most talented athletes of her generation. Thanks to her perseverance and dedication to training, she has achieved outstanding results and won many international competitions. Aysel represented Azerbaijan at international competitions in various sports, won at the national level and became the winner of many international and national competitions in rhythmic gymnastics. At the age of 14, she had already won her first bronze medal at the Azerbaijan Ballroom Dancing Championship. One of the most significant moments in Aysel's career was her success at the 11th European Aerobic Gymnastics Championship, for which she prepared in just a year. With her talents and professionalism, she was able to overcome difficulties and reach the final of this prestigious event. Aysel also took part in the openings of many European and World Championships. During a long break from the sport, Aysel Aslanzade decided to contribute to aerobic gymnastics as an international referee. Surprisingly but she became the youngest international aerobic gymnastics referee. Her experience and knowledge gained during an active sports career allows her to make fair and competent decisions at international competitions. She adjudicated her first competition at the 9th Aerobic Gymnastics World Championship in 2021 year.
At the educational level, Aysel also achieved success. She excelled in school and received certificates in mathematics and information technology. Surprisingly, she is also a linguist and speaks 4 languages fluently. In addition, she has been studying German and French since school.
Aysel also showed her mathematical abilities, becoming a two-time finalist and three times a bronze medalist at international mathematics olympiads. In the future, she plans to continue her education in computer science at one of the best universities in the world.
Despite her achievements in sports and education, Aysel always remains a modest and respectful person. She hopes to continue her sports career and represent her university in international competitions. Aysel Aslanzade is not only an exceptional athlete, but also an inspiring personality for young athletes in Azerbaijan and beyond.
