Welcome to Wikipedia, Umamahadevanbe! I am BountyHunter2008 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Umamahadevanbe. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. - SUN EYE 1 08:20, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Many people come to edit Wikipedia with mistaken ideas as to the nature of Wikipedia, and in perfectly good faith do things which are not in line with Wikipedia policies, and unfortunately you seem to have done so. You stated that you were "looking for page ownership" and that you wanted the article locked against other editors. However, that is not how Wikipedia works: nobody owns a page, or has the right to dictate how it should be. Moreover, Wikipedia aims to present information from a neutral point of view, and the owners of a business trying to skew the contents of an article about that business to reflect the view of it that they wish to promote is fundamentally contrary to the whole nature of Wikipedia. Almost all of us, when we start editing Wikipedia, know little or nothing about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, so nobody can be blamed for starting out doing things that are contrary to policies and guidelines that they don't know about. However, continuing to do the same things after being told about the relevant policies and guidelines is a different matter. You continued to try to rewrite the article to make it present your preferred view after you had been informed of the guideline on conflict of interest and the policy on promotion. Since that is totally unacceptable, and since you show no sign of intending to edit in any other way, your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business, and if you are willing to do so in a neutral way, and collaboratively with other editors, then you may request an unblock. To do so, first read the guide to appealing blocks, and then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of this page, replacing the words "Your reason here" with appropriate text.JBW (talk) 11:47, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
