Information icon Hello, I'm Binksternet. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to All I Want for Christmas Is You have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. My intent was to make it factual, neutral and descriptive; as the "Big Time Rush" version cite is. I have also included 3rd party links, in addition to my own website. What would you suggest I drop to make it more objective? I want to be in in line with policies. Unchance (talk) 17:38, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've included 3rd party references- which would be objective. I am another artist who did a version of this song. Do you have a suggestion as to what I could do differently? Unchance (talk) 20:35, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You're asking how to promote your music so that people notice. Nearly every musician has to figure out the answer to that. I don't have any useful advice.
Your "3rd party references" (Pandora, YouTube, etc.) are just listing the item, not talking about how it is significant in the world. Such sources prove that it exists, but they don't show that it is important. Wikipedia concentrates on stuff that is widely seen and discussed in depth by the media.
