We would like to introduce our village UNNIYAL. It is a small beautiful coastal village in Niramarathoor panchayath of Malapuram district in Kerala. It is one of the most important places of Malappuram district. It is appx. 46 Kms away from south of Kozhikode.

Historically important tippusulthan road going through unniyal. Tirur is another important place of kerala which is situated nearly 5 kms away from unniyal. Tirur is also part of the first laid railroad in Kerala, and hence historically significant. The birth place of Thunchathu Ramanujan Ezhuthchan, the father of Malayalam language, [Thunchan Parambu] is also in Tirur.
