PS cool username! -- Francs2000 12:37, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- You're welcome. Based on my experience you actually get more credibility afforded to you on first impression if you have a blue link for a user page and a talk page than a red/orange one. Create a user page, it's fun! -- Francs2000 12:51, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
criky oh rily you answered quickly thanks for the advice i'll start creating a user page/ big fat mess right now (Unregistered text offender 12:55, 27 April 2006 (UTC))
- Hey stick with it, looking good. Take a look at how mine started out and what it looks like now. I guess what I'm saying is don't try to make it a work of art, it'll just mould itself to your needs over time. -- Francs2000 13:13, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Liking vandalism
[edit]No, but I've seen genuine additions to my user page that others have thought was vandalism (just because it was editing someone else's space) and reverted back to those edits, if that makes sense?
By the way there are edit count tools: on my user page, in the links section, click on Kate's edit count tool and follow the instructions (Interiot's is better but has stopped counting edits from en:wiki). -- Francs2000 16:05, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
Speedy tag
[edit]Hi, you recently tagged Bard Eithun for speedy deletion, citing it exists in a more complete form under a different name. Could you provide the alternative name in such cases, as it makes the admins job much easier when investigating your request. Nice one, Deizio talk 13:17, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
- Also, in cases like this you should blank the page and redirect (use the "#R" button in the edit menu) to the full article. Deizio talk 13:22, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Evil speak, RG Armstrong, Joseph Cortese
[edit]Hello. I noticed you are the creator of Evil speak, RG Armstrong, and Joseph Cortese, articles which Wikipedians used to describe as substubs, i.e. "short information fragments that are undesirable to stay as they are for an extended period of time." Since you've also contributed to more established articles and have had a chance to see what proper stub articles look like, I'd like to ask you to revisit your creations and format them following the conventions of Wikipedia. This would typically include a proper introductory paragraph, with the article name in bold, one or more categories, and a proper stub category. An easy way to get a good start on a properly formated stub is to copy a similar existing article. Thanks for contributing. 66.167.136.108 00:06, 4 June 2006 (UTC).
Unfortunately i don't knoe enough about the subjects to write a full article on any of these i started them simply because they were not thereand i perhaps nievely beleived that others would be spurred by this and add to them however i will tidy them up a bit and put some more information thank you mister 66.167.136.108 whatan interesting name you have. Industrial Culture Handbook
[edit]I noticed your concern for information in the Industrial Culture Handbook, I have not yet obtained a copy of the book (hopefully I will in the coming year) but at you convenience, if you would like to collaborate by sharing information or make a rough draft of the information that you would like to incorporate into the article, I will be happy to assist in the integration in any way possible. --Mutlee (talk) 19:13, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
