Phosphorix

[edit]

I'm finding it hard to find any independent information about Phosphorix or its products on the Internet (mostly by Google search). Unfortunately, it appears (at this time) that your company does not meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines as written in WP:COMPANY and WP:PRODUCT. Has Phosphorix or its products appeared in any publications? Notability does not equate to importance. Simply put, if someone else has written about you, we will, too. If no one has (yet) written about your company or products, then we have no independent source for information and can't make/verify an article about your company and products. About Phosphorix and its products

[edit]

A number of independent orgnisations have written about us and the open source products we have developed. I did a presentation to some of them on Friday and mentioned the protocol for wikipedia articles. So we hope that some of them will write or re-write articles about Phosphorix and in particular its free open source products. What would your advice be? Urfx (talk) 14:36, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've tagged the last of the Phosphorix product articles for speedy deletion as it was a copyright violation from their website. If you are involved with the website and would like to release some of the content under the WP:GFDL, please do so there and then it can be used on Wikipedia. I'll do a few Google searches and start up an article on the company and we can include short paragraphs about the products within the main article. Remember, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and is not for advertising. The article will be at Phosphorix. (EhJJ)TALK 20:48, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've created the stub. Please add more about the company (especially media coverage and usage of your products by larger companies or organizations (universities, governments)). Do not just add info about your products in a marketing style. Also, do not copy and paste from the companies website unless the text is released under the WP:GFDL. Otherwise, good luck. I'll try to back you up as much as I can. (EhJJ)TALK 21:08, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
