I am unclear why you added information on many (but not all) of the Osler Library's archival collections. Though the archival fonds are important, the print (book and journal) collection is probably more important and all (??) of their archival fonds (and printed collection) are listed in WorldCat. The information you added is certainly not wrong but it may really not be best place to have it (and it's incomplete).

@DavidReilly: Hi David ! The list of archival fonds was generated through a SPARQL query, if it is missing some fonds, it is probably because the query lacks precision or some holdings of McGill are not yet created in Wikidata. I am going to look into it to get complete results. As for the listing of the fonds in WorldCat, it links to https://archivalcollections.library.mcgill.ca as well, but would anyone potentially interested in this material think to check it out ? I am currently reflecting on how to provide information on these holdings : do you think a page dedicated to the archival collection would be more appropriate, as to not lose focus on print collections ? I am eager to read your thoughts on the matter ! --Vdelavenne (talk) 15:11, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@DavidReilly: I just looked it up, apparently the lacking elements would be the collection-level items, like the AIDS collection for example. These items have a separate level of description, so once they appear on Wikidata, the list can be complete ! Still eager to know if you have an opinion on housing this list elsewhere !
--Vdelavenne (talk) 20:20, 8 November 2019 (UTC) @Vdelavenne: I like your listing but it really 'overwhelms' and skews the whole of the OL Wiki page; archive collections, though important, are not the main strength of the Osler Library. Frankly, if you have some connection to the library you might want to create/improve THEIR page of the Archive Fonds held at Osler, put your (useful) list there and just link from Wiki to the OL page.[reply]
