Sweeping changes

Hi/Salam Vice regent, I have vigorously used academic sources for this article and the edit you restored made changes to sourced content (a lot of it just erased parts of sentences - presumably per the editor's liking - the result was that a lot of the sentences became grammatically incorrect and just no longer make sense). I would urge you to go through on the talk page, point by point, your issue with the content. Thank you. Mcphurphy (talk) 03:45, 20 May 2020 (UTC)

Edit war

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Concubinage in Islam; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Mcphurphy (talk) 08:28, 21 May 2020 (UTC)

Rape in Islamic law

I have made a proposal on Talk:Rape in Islamic law, Can you take a look please? Mcphurphy (talk) 10:14, 21 May 2020 (UTC)

Keep up the good work (if you can)

I'm honestly burnt up and the discussion on the concubinage talkpage is simply becoming more and more convulted with dozens of things being (and needing) discussion. I recommended this earlier as well but someone should get around to accessing Professor Jonathan Brown's book and adding content from it (without cherrypicking it that is). With the article protected, it's out of an IP's hands for now.39.37.151.149 (talk) 18:41, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

Hello

Hi, it turned out that Koreangauteng is a sockpuppet (see the sockpuppet investigation). Also, I reported Aswinpai who was pushing anti-Pakistan and anti-Muslim POV after it was obvious that he is a sockpuppet of Jishnusavith. If you have time, you can revert these sockpuppets controversial edits as they are evading block. And Balolay was using another account, and he was blocked for one week after I emailed a checkuser (I suspect he is using IPs to evade the block).

I will investigate who Mcphurphy is as he doesn't look like a new editor.-SharʿabSalam▼ (talk) 14:54, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
