History:

SRI RAMKRISHNA SIKSHALAYA IS A HIGH SCHOOL IN HOWRAH,WEST BENGAL,INDIA.THIS ESTEEMED INSTITUTION IS SITUATED AT THE CENTRAL HOWRAH ,AT THE HEART OF THE TOWN.THE EDUCATION OF THIS SCHOOL IS NOT ONLY CONFINED TO THE SYLLABUS BUT ALSO ENCOURAGES THE STUDENTS TO BE A REAL MAN INFLUENCED BY THE IDEOLOGIST OF LORD RAMAKRISHNA,MAA SARADA & SWAMI VIVEKANANDA.

The school has grades 1 to 12 and the language of instruction is Bengali.Grade 11 and 12 have three streams- science, arts and commerce.The school is one of the oldest existing schools in Howrah (West Bengal). It is an institution which have produced many brilliant students.It is sure that every student of this school cannot forget his school life.The institute has its services open to all irrespective of caste, creed and nationality, its special field being education.

The school is affiliated to WBBSE (West Bengal Board of Secondary Education) & WBCHSE (West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education),students appear for 10+(Madhyamik) examination under West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and 12+(Higher Secondary Examination) examination under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.

Buildings:

There are playgrounds and the buildings are spacious and airy. The School Buildings contain large classrooms, a library, staff rooms and laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
