Here is a response to the items about which you are concerned. The numbers correspond to the section points in WP:EL. Please review my list and in the spirit of Wikipedia decide if you still think I am link spamming from the Inner Compass site. I view links to Inner Compass episodes as a service to anyone trying to learn more about that person.

Links normally to be avoided: 1 It is a 26minute interview, there is no way to add all of that valuable content in text form. 2 There is nothing inaccurate 3 no malware 4 There is nothing to promote, it is simply there to provide episodes. 5 It is providing the actual episode 6 Free content 7 Vimeo should be available to anyone using Flash (97% of the web) 8 OK maybe on this one. So no linking to flash???? 9 no 10 no 11 no 12 no 13 since the site is about the person, I think an interview with them would be appropriate 14 no 15 no 16 no 18 no 19 no 20 no

Conflict of Interest? After interviewing Jimmy Wales on our show, I became increasingly interested in Wikipedia and I thought it would be a good idea if there were a page for it. None of your interviews meet WP:ELYES, at least for the purposes of an article about the interviewee because they are not neutral (the person is talking about themselves). At most they are WP:ELMAYBE. Regardless, you now have admitted a significant conflict of interest (assuming you are the interviewer as you say you are). You have pretty much admitted link spamming since you are promoting your tv show if nothing else. I assume you had good intentions, but you should have followed WP:COI. Please do so in the future. Not the interviewer, but I am a member of the crew. I believe I presented an article that is completely free of opinions and bias. It is simply a list of the stations on which the show airs, a list of the last four seasons of interviews, and the crew history. The show is freely available and free to air, no one makes money off any part of it. It is broadcast for free and given away for free on the web. Therefore promoting the show is not really to anyone's benefit. It is simply a body of content that I would think might be interesting or helpful to someone researching a certain person or topic. I'm not sure I understand why making information available to people is a conflict of interest. Based on WP:ELYES and WP:ELMAYBE, should the long list of individual episodes be removed and replaced by a single link that references where the list of episodes exists on the show's official site? I thought that would be more of a conflict of interest, as it is "driving" people to the show's site. That is why we spent the time entering them on the article itself to be more neutral and factual. I don't think the Inner Compass article meets the criteria for inclusion in Wikipedia as you can see from the AfD below. Nonetheless, anytime you are editing an article for which you have a COI, you should follow the steps outlined here. Even assuming the show is notable for wikipedia purposes, the article is way too detailed in certain respects and has no third party sources. Yes, I would replace the long list with something like, "As of the start of the 2009-2010 season, Inner Compass has provided XX number of episodes." But it would be better to link to a third party source to support the assertion, though referencing the show's episode website could do. Keep in mind, if anybody cares about the episodes, they will click on the main official website. I'd make sure that site is as user friendly as possible. A wikipedia article shouldn't be a front door to information found in various places on the official site. It is not a website dedicated to the subject or a repository of the subject, it is an encyclopedia article dealing with the subject. Novaseminary (talk) 21:26, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
