European vs. Asian
[edit]I agree that I made a mistake on reverting the two Turkish schools + Nakhchivan (I've fixed them; the names on the Turkish schools confused me and I thought they were Azerbaijan); however, as for the others, there was already a discussion on the Azerbaijan schools in the main portion of the country and they are considered a part of Europe on a number of maps (i.e. the country is a member of the Council of Europe); the confusion is the Caucasus region can go either way, and the country clearly identifies closer to Europe (due to Soviet influence) than Asia. The Nakhchivan exclave, however, is more dicey and therefore should be Asian. --Bobak (talk) 21:56, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
