Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to B2B e-commerce. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Annh07 (talk) 08:57, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I appreciate your vigilance in maintaining the integrity of Wikipedia. I understand and respect Wikipedia's policies regarding inappropriate external links and promotional content. I apologize for any oversight on my part.
I will refrain from re-adding the link and will engage in a discussion on the associated talk page to address any concerns or seek consensus for its inclusion. I know collaboration and adherence to Wikipedia guidelines are essential, and I am committed to contributing in a manner that aligns with these principles.
Thank you again for your diligence and guidance. Viola w99 (talk) 11:15, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit reversion

[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 12:45, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
