AfD Nomination: Geopolitical system

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem to me that Geopolitical system meets these criteria, I have started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Geopolitical system. Don't forget to add four tildes (<nowiki>TeckWizBot 16:46, 3 April 2007 (UTC)</nowiki>) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.[reply]

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, an administrator will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. —thames 16:08, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Apollodorus of Damascus

[edit]

You have to admit that Apollodorus is born in Damascus. All the data used are correct. The idea of an encyclopedia is to offer more and more data. You can not erase information which is valid, only because you want to emphasize that he was a Greek.

First, use your username and stop making anon edits. Secondly, Damascus and the country of Syria in antiquity was significantly different of its modern equivalent. Stop trying to draw a parallel. The very name of the article X of Damascus states that he was born there, what more information on his birthplace do you want? I'm not trying to point out that he was Greek, I'm only trying to keep it, as it appears in all sources I've run into. Miskin 10:47, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Further it looks silly to keep repetitive his brithplace (Apollodorus of Damascus was born in Damascus), on the countrary, it is evident that you're trying to point out a POV personal agenda, particularly by linking the Greek Damascus with the modern Arab one. Reply to me here, I have your page on watch. Miskin 10:49, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ostrovul Calnovăţ moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Ostrovul Calnovăţ, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Carol II of Romania, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Carpathia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:18, 9 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Ostrovul Calnovăţ

[edit]

Hello, Vlaton. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Ostrovul Calnovăţ".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! JMHamo (talk) 08:06, 19 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
