Your rant on my talk page
[edit]Why do you label other people as my sock puppets? Why do you smear my name without any shred of proof. I'm saying "you" because I believe that you are directly responsible for this action since all this started after one of the users, biggyP, reverted one of your edits. Looks like anybody who disagrees with you will be condemned. This stinks like an autocratic Nazi-Wiki where people are silenced if they do not agree with their Pgk master.
I loked up biggyP edit history and looks like he is a new user whos edits are completely harmless other having the guts to disagree with you and change your edits.
And what all this arguing between biggyP and you, has to do with me and how did you draw the association. And please don't tell me that "you had a gut feeling" because this takes us back to autocratic despotism.
If I'm wrong, and you have nothing to do with this then please accept my apologies and I will delete my comment. Though I still want to know who smeared my name and based on what evidence. R. Watts
- As someone who is complaining about people jumping to conclusions I suggest you look straight in the mirror at your self, I have not labelled anyone as a sockpuppet of you as you could easily have told by spending 10 seconds looking at the editing history of the pages in question.
- I've a couple of pages for you to look up and read "Assume good faith", "Civility" and Godwin's law. --pgk(talk) 16:38, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- My apologies to Pkg. My comment was out of place. I have jumped to conclusion without checking the edit hisory. R. Watts
- It was me who placed the sockpuppet tags (suggested that the user might be a sockpuppet). You can place a request on Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser to prove that your IP address is different from that of User:biggyP. Han-Kwang 17:32, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- The system is rather defective if this is the accused that have to prove his innocence and the accuser can make baseless accusations. The checkuser request have been initiated.
