Michael Anthony Decker, state name Penelope Kyriacos Buckles Panayiotou or Aussa Rena Su III, is an Arabic-American singer and author. She made her first debut in 2016 when she released “Faith (Cover)” and “Careless Whisper (Cover)” [made famous by George Michael] Early Years Penelope Katherine Buckles was born May 15, 2001 to parents [mothers name withheld] and Dwight Buckles. She grew up primarily in Amarillo, Texas with seven other siblings: Lexy, Cedrick, Anthony, Jordan, Kenzie, Spencer, and Olive. She was bullied all throughout elementary for being overweight, and the harassment had carried on into middle school. She moved sporadically throughout middle school, going from parent to parent [after divorce in 2010] She moved 3 times in a year in a half due to ongoing conflicts between the houses.

Teenage Years With no spiritual backbone, Penelope began experimenting new ways to cope with stress. First with marijuana at the age of 13. Though she is pro-legalization of cannabis, she states thoroughly that marijuana was most likely the cause of her to start her love of reggae and 80’s rock music [soon leading her to singers like George Michael, Kurt Cobain, and Bob Marley] She never settled down for a boy in a relationship until she was a sophomore in highschool. Until then, she flew solo but had a controversial relationship [to her hometown] with another girl. She tried accepting the fact that she was most likely lesbian, or at least bisexual. “I’m pretty sure it was only puppy love, but then it seemed real.”, she says, “I still talk to [identity withheld] on a pretty much daily basis, but she took it as if it was something that could’ve worked.” Eventually, she began getting into legal and mental troubles- which sent her into a depression for over 3 years. Being unnoticed by her family members, Penelope kept most of her self-harm abuse to herself, to preserve the relationships of all her families and friends. Not much help came to the restroom until her mother, whom she was living at the time, had realized the crisis she was going through. [see mental ordeals and arrests]

Music Career Penelope had been drawn into music all her life, but she had always felt a certain connection. She knew that she would be into big music once in her life. She never made it big in her childhood for being too shy and awkward to come out and sing to the public. She put her music dreams on the backburner and actually aspired to become an author or nurse. After moving back to Bushland to live with her father [divorced], she started attending choir class at school. She had no prior music background except school band. She didn’t know how to read music, sight read, or even hit a whistle tone or bass. But she found a passion within choir and began to catch on with the rest of the students. Penelope’s music career began fully after George Michael’s death had caused her to mourn gravely. She said that she felt like her and George had an intimate relationship with music and society. Though they had one encounter in 2011 , during Michael’s Symphonica tour, they had not sparked any relationship besides new friends [see George Michael] She began doing covers of Michael’s songs in memory of him just days after his death had been reported. Fawaz Adawi , George’s on and off boyfriend, had reached out to Buckles to show grief and appreciation that she was continuing her route on music, though Michael never apprenticed her. He was even much so “excited to hear how much he [Penelope] truly satisfies George’s music. Penelope released two songs: “Faith (Cover)” and “Careless Whisper (Cover)” , in Michael’s memory.

Sexuality Before converting to Christianity in the winter of 2016, Penelope thought of herself as agnostic, even trying out scientology. But since she didn’t follow much rules that were in the Bible, she began experimenting with drugs, alcohol, and most controversial of all, girls. She had began dating a girl (who her identity is withheld) at her middle school. She was profusely bullied and harassed by her peers, causing her to be pushed to the edge of a suicide attempt [see Mental Ordeals or Arrests] But after converting, she began to follow the rules taken from the Bible. She had began dating heterosexually in high school. “I’m straighter than straight.”, she said during an interview with pop!crush.com. But although she was straight, she still remains large in the LGBTQ community, for her anonymous genderfluid account in which she calls herself “Michael” [see The Name Michael Anthony Decker] “I feel at times more like a man, than woman. But I’m not a lesbian. And I’m not a transgender. Nor will I ever be.”, she says,”I am human. But to some, that isn’t all that matters.” Penelope had dated a female for about one year, in which her identity is unknown. They started dating on August 3, 2015 and broke off around March 3, 2016. Penelope started dating junior student, Brady Vaughn, in January of 2017. This is her first Christian/Straight relationship.

Mental Ordeals and ArrestsSeptember 26, 2014 is when Penelope finally came out about her self-harm. After just being emotionally bruised by an argument her mother had with her, she had shown her the scars and cuts that occupied her arms. She was taken to the hospital and over 150 lacerations showed on her arm. Penelope recently stated that she thought that her mom didn’t take charge then and that’s why her life began spiraling. She was not admitted to any psychiatric hospital whatsoever and she went to school the next day. Penelope began engaging with then 21 year old Andre Kubat online, and planned to run away with him in 2014. She was caught with multiple phones that her parents did not know about with the conversations from this man that she did not know, nor did her parents. No arrests were made against Kubat, who was described by Penelope as “manipulative; angered and just a liar” but legal action was taken up when a domestic violence call had came to Penelope’s household as she had a suicide attempt, taking a dull razor across her body. She was not incarcerated. [see Kubat Crisis] Penelope was sent to a psychiatric hospital after cutting her wrists, threatening her mother, and overdosing on 18 tylenols taken on January 25, 2016. No one had pressed charges, but she did stay one week at the Northwest Healthcare System Pavilion. She was soon diagnosed with manic depression. She felt as if her needs were neglected by her mother because it was “obvious” that something was always wrong in the head. She was prescribed the antidepressant Zoloft to try to combat the biased feelings of worthlessness and anger. But all fell through when she began to skip her meds, and fell back to old habits. Penelope was arrested June 26, that same year, on Online Impersonation (Class A Misdemeanor) when she had tried a relationship with a 32 year old man online, which he had realized that she was underage, and reported her to the police. Charges were pressed by her mother, and Penelope stayed in the Youth of the High Plains Corrections Center until July 5, 2016. She was taken out of counseling after the summer of 2016, due to financial circumstances. Penelope has been focusing more on music and not the negative things about life. She has been learning ways to try to not think about her brutal past.

Kubat Crisis In mid April of 2014, Penelope had began to explore the online universe. She was getting bored with the cliche social media trends, so she began catfishing (acting and portraying someone else) men over the age of 18. One in particular was Andre Kubat. Andre Kubat started to talk to “Chardonnae” (the fake name used for Penelope’s profile) who was 19 years old. When restrictions of internet were placed in the family home, Penelope began buying/receiving phones. She would hook up the phones onto the wifi at her house, “lost the phone [somewhere]”, and the story of the phones were history to the bystanders. Penelope and Andre were thought to be falling in love, but it only turned out to be a selfish game. Something to occupy Penelope’s mind. They made plans for Chardonnae to leave and run away to Andre, so they can live a happy, fairytale life together. Sexual conversations were held at some times within the online relationship, but Penelope described those conversations as “forced” and “downright not what I was looking for” While the relationship between Penelope and Andre grew, multiple occasions had occurred when Penelope was caught with a phone, but no one had thought to check the phones at first. Penelope was never thought to do anything vulgar or conspicuous, so they never checked for sure. One morning in May, Penelope and younger sister, Kenzie, were in the bathroom getting ready [which is next to the bedroom of Penelope] The girls had heard a tune coming from her room, but it was much louder than what Penelope told her that was “her iPod” Big brother Jordan went into the room to see what the noise was, expecting it to be an alarm, but to find a Samsung Galaxy 5 phone that Penelope had “lost” months ago. He turned it into his mom [Penelope’s stepmom] Penelope had went back to her room to find that her phone had disappeared. She took the charger out of her wall outlet, then snipped the cord. “The battery, I remember, was low. Mostly because I was on it all night.”, she stated,”So I snipped the cord than hoped that it would die before anyone could get ahold of what was inside.” Penelope vividly remembers telling her close friends at school that she was “scared for her freedom” and “scared she would die.” She came home that afternoon to her stepmother and father in the living room, looking angered. Her stepmother had looked through the phone before it died, and then knew there was something more for when she tried to find the charger, it was cut and on her bedroom floor. Penelope did not expect for that little of a lecture from her father. He had just told her what she did was “disgusting” than they left each other for the night. No one knew of the “Kubat Crisis” besides that household. But Penelope’s mother got ahold of the information when youngest sister Olive had gotten a message from Andre himself through instagram. That’s when the police were called. May 21, 2014, just a week after her 13th birthday, cops were called on a domestic violence problem at the home of Penelope Buckles. Penelope had went on a walk with the family dog right after she just got home from school. She had gotten a phone call from her mother, asking her about the phone, but the phone call was harsh. She remembers her mother saying “disappointment” and profanity over the ordeal. She couldn’t take much more, so she found a razor from one of her past self harm issues, while outside in the rainy weather, and cut away at her skin. She carved the name “Andre” into her thumb, which is still barely noticeable, and had over 200 cuts up and down her wrists. She began getting cold from the rain and went home. Her father was in the front yard, checking the yard, when he heard a wailing coming from Penelope. She had her sleeves pulled up, wrists bleeding, and cried, “I can’t ever stop, Dad.” He then pulled her into the house, Penelope still crying out. He placed her in the half bathroom and told her to sit. She sat down on the floor, sopping in tears. “I felt like a dog.”, she said,”My dad had told me ‘You are my property now!’. I knew he meant that because he was angry, or confused, but it still hurt my mind.” Kenzie had heard the commotion and went to the bathroom. She saw Penelope, who was now lying on the floor, bleeding and weeping. She casted an angered palate on her face and said, “I should’ve known.” Those words had haunted Penelope ever since. Two police officers came to her house, and only offered her a warning. The case had went cold, and they never found Andre Kubat, for he was in a different state. Several occasions had came about of Andre trying to reconnect with Penelope, but Penelope denied. Penelope is still trying to find justice within her situation which she felt as if authorities didn’t “handle the situation correctly” Andre now lives in his home state [information withheld] with his girlfriend and son, Negan.

The Name Michael Anthony Decker “The name Michael Anthony Decker is only a pen name. It should not be taken as a queer thing.”, she admitted,”I don’t care if you’re gay or not, I’m just not gay myself.” Penelope had released her two cover-singles under Michael Anthony Decker, which sparked controversy, especially after one of the covers featured Penelope in a tuxedo. She has broken up her name into three different dedications. “Michael” is tribute to late English singer George Michael, “Anthony” is in tribute to her second to youngest brother, and the last name “Decker” is taken from Hollywood Undead’s front bassman Jorel Decker. She has not came out publicly about gender fluidity, but she has mentioned it in an interview with pop!crush.com [see sexuality]

Relationship with Mother Penelope was a stubborn, offputting person growing up. Many fights sparked between her mother and herself. Some dealt with profanity and slander, while others forced Penelope to stay at a friend’s for the night. Penelope once stated, “Sure. What she said could’ve been recognized as emotional abuse, but I was shooting the exact same shit to her.” Penelope bounced around house to house throughout her childhood, this being the primary reason. She had gone to court twice, in either parents’ favor of custody. Usually, she got what she want. Penelope’s problems [see mental ordeals and arrests] caused more friction in the relationship. Penelope’s girlfriend of one year witnessed all the erosion in the relationship throughout the years knowing the family. There were several accounts, described by Penelope, that had claimed that her mother threatened her with the police, violence, or disownment.

Where Your Real Friends At? (2012)- RG2Italic text Rap Rock Group RG2 first took notice of Penelope when she was eleven years old. She had a cute, baby, nosy voice. They took her in for a recording of a chorus, and she got the job. Her only lines were “...no new friends for you. Baby, i wish that i could trust you. We can meet at my place. But airy time i see you, It's like I’m seein’ a new face…”

She felt as if rap was overdone. So she left the whole rap genre altogether in her next rendition. She says that Rokita Rochelle, who was twenty two at the time said that she could’ve had a place in the music industry no matter which genre she chose, but she felt as if Penelope wouldn’t genuinely like to stay in the hip-hop scene.

Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go (Cover)(2015)- Michael Anthony DeckerItalic text With George Michael’s permission, Penelope released a cover of Wham!’s Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go. Michael Anthony Decker: Bisexual & Genderfluid[edit]

Michael Anthony Decker: “Bisexual & Genderfluid”

The fifteen-year-old star that is Michael Anthony Decker had just came out this last Thursday after immense speculation.

The first rumors had started back before the Pops and Pastries concert had began, when she had been questioned about her sexuality straight forward. She had stated that she had experimented with girls-but she didn’t really think she was lesbian.

Michael was attacked in her support group hallway by a teenage boy, in which his identity is unknown to us, and his reasons were as bleak as they can be. He attacked her under the influence that she was LGBTQ and she used the pronouns of he/her. Michael had broken up with boyfriend Brady a few days later, and has been speculated to be “seeing” seventeen year old Laura Lee Coleman- who is female. She has otherwise dismissed the fact that her and Laura are in a relationship, but she had came out publicly on her official twitter, stating:

I cannot tell a lie… I have been a bisexual/genderfluid for over two years. Much love .

All other rumors of her transformation were slammed when she had specified that she would never go under any reconstructive surgeries that involve transculture or “maleness”
