Limited research has shown that Lamotrigine's neuroprotective and mood-stabilizing properties may improve the visual symptoms associated with Hallucinogen persisting perception disorder.[1][2]

The first source appears to be a case report. The second is from Frontiers which has been labelled possibly predatory and thus best to avoid.
