Violation of Three-Revert Rule[edit]

Please stop adding external web links to Adrian Heaps' website on Toronto municipal election, 2006. There is a general consensus that such links are not going to be allowed on the page (see Talk:Toronto municipal election, 2006). Please respect that consensus. You are, of course, free to offer your opinion on that debate.

I see that you are a new user on Wikipedia. You may not be aware of it, but your edits constitute a violation of the Wikipedia:Three-revert rule. I see that another Wikipedia user has already reported that violation. If you continue to violate the 3R rule, a Wikipedia administrator will likely take some sort of action against your account ... so it is best to stop now.

There is also reason to believe that your's is a single purpose account ... but as you are new that may not be true.

I would like to make a friendly suggestion that you read Wikipedia:List of policies before making any more edits. It might stop any future problems from occuring. Thanks. Wolfchild 03:39, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User notice: temporary 3RR block[edit]

Regarding reversions[1] made on October 1 2006 to Toronto municipal election, 2006[edit]

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.
The duration of the block is 24 hours.

Whilst I personally think the links make sense, you can't break 3RR (and get away with it)
