Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Haplogroup E-M215, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please can you restore what’s been removed from Somali people, one person removed loads of cited and sourced content for no reason.

The person has removed long-standing content. The person tried vandalising the Rendille people page aswell but it seems to have been restored now.

That looks like a good source, but I'm confused why you ask this: it does not use the word "patriarch", but the expression "common ancestor"? Calling Aqil ibn Abi Talib a "patriarch" would tend to validate the ancestry claims as accurate, while scholars are agreed that they are not historical (as we are also noting in the article). It something you might discuss at Talk:Samaale if you wish, but we need Wikipedia content to be directly based upon what reliable sources are saying. ☿ Apaugasma (talk ☉) 14:34, 4 March 2024 (UTC)

No, please see Wikipedia:Red link: "Red links are for subjects that should have articles but do not. They are not only acceptable, but needed in articles. They serve as a clear indication of which articles are in need of creation, and encourage it. Only remove red links if you are certain that Wikipedia should not have an article on that subject."
