November 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm AntiDionysius. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bristol Bus Boycott, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. AntiDionysius (talk) 19:26, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don't exactly understand what a reliable source is, I did read the article about it but I thought I didn't do anything wrong. Thanks anyway for telling me. Wikipedia NERDwholikesreading (talk) 19:52, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A reliable source means that any information you put on Wikipedia has to come from somewhere else, and that somewhere else has to be trustworthy. You can't put your own analysis into articles. AntiDionysius (talk) 19:53, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also, regarding your edit at Matthew Moore, we basically never insert external links into the body of articles. External links go at the end of an article, and even then there's quite a limited list of the types of link that are appropriate. You can find out more about that at WP:EL.
