MY LETTER TO MY COUNTRY KENYA

Thanks be to God our Almighty, for the wonderful country Kenya. I was born some 26 years ago, at a tender age of seven, I started hearing of the name KENYA ,and I was indeed proud of the name. How wonderful the name, of all the 194 names identifying the countries on Earth, Kenya stands out as the only beautiful and lovely name.

Imagine, I never applied to be born in Kenya, yet I was admitted in it. This is wonderful.Oooh! I love this country. The only country that can manage to stand as one, even when terrorists try to separate its citizens.

I love you Kenya. I was not born rich, neither was I born literate, nor intelligent, not even wise. But Kenya has made me achieve all this.

As many Kenyans celebrate the 50years of independence,in remembrance of the heroes and heroins who fought for the self governance and independence from the brutal colonialists, I do join millions of Kenyans to sing this wonderful song to say Kenya itself is my hero.

Long live Kenya! Long live our Kenyan leaders, long live our great Kenyans both in the country and those in the diaspora. Nakupenda Kenya.
