I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}}
before the question. Again, welcome! GBT/C 18:40, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Your userpage
[edit]On the presumption that you wanted to redirect your userpage to your user talk page, I've fixed the redirect you put in place. The correct way of referencing a user talk page is "User talk:Username". If I've overstepped the mark, my apologies, but if I can help in any way just leave a message on my talk page. - No problem. Please remember to sign your comments - it makes it much easier to work out who said what on talk pages. I'll leave the standard reminder wording below! GBT/C 19:03, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! GBT/C 19:03, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, this doesn't apply to articles. When you make an amendment to an article, you don't sign your change. If you're talking about an article, on its talk page, or to a user on their user talk page, then you sign your posts, but don't sign posts to articles. GBT/C 19:07, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
