RFC discussion of your username (Wwe raw smackdown fans)[edit]

Hello, Wwe raw smackdown fans, and thank you for contributing to Wikipedia! Wikipedia has a policy on what usernames editors can use. Unfortunately, concerns have been raised that your username may be incompatible with that policy. You can contribute to the discussion about it here. Alternatively, if you agree that your username may be problematic and are willing to change it, it is possible for you to keep your present contributions history under a new name. Simply request a new name here following the guidelines on that page, rather than creating a whole new account. Thank you. -- Acalamari 21:28, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Wwe raw smackdown fans. You might want to change your user name. BACKGROUND: There presently are/were 230 usernames that begin with WWE, many of which also characterize a wrestling interest with the term "fan". WWE + anything else implying wrestling (since WWE is famous) appears to be the trademark. COMMENT: The expressive "Wwe raw smackdown fans" name suggests viewpoint bias in making contributions to wrestling articles and may color other users' view on the credibility of posts made by this user through. Because of the term "fans," others may come away with the impression that more than one person may have access to this account. As for an inappropriate username review, the may be some confusion with User talk:Wwesmackdown. If trademark is the basis for dealing with this username, then all the usernames with WWE + anything else implying wrestling should go. If "fans" is the problem, then this might be solved by dropping the "s" from fans. -- Jreferee 22:16, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
