Khenchen Palden Sherab

[edit]

Thank you for all the work you've done on his page. It looks great and you've saved me so much time in hunting down his publications and translations (although I'm sure there's more). I hope you don't mind my deleting the part about Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal being his brother. According to Penor Rinpoche's monks at Namdroling monastery where Khenchen Palden Sherab taught for some time, they aren't brothers, it's just a term of affection for someone who's close enough to be your brother. Minor point and they get referred to as brothers all the time, have for years. I guess Khenchen-la just doesn't bother with the long-winded cultural explanations.

Anyhow, thank you, and great job. I can't wait to add some of his Tibetan writings that haven't been translated yet. They're very extensive. Longchenpa (talk) 18:43, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You know, the only way I could settle this is to contact the monks back at the the monastery. It was definitely Khenpo Palden Sherab because Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal came to visit him when his health was poor. It doesn't seem all that important at any rate. Great job on the article. :) Longchenpa (talk) 05:43, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
