Re: Deletion Review Request

[edit]

In order to request a deletion review you can simply go to Wikipedia:Deletion review and follow the steps mentionned there so that a discussion will ensue. Although (considering it was a clear consensus since there were new users and sockpuppets in the discussion that does influence little or not in the outcome) first, it would be go to do the changes needed to correct this issue. I could send you a copy of the deleted article so you can make the changes and then do your deletion review request. --JForget 15:38, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Eleusian mysteries

[edit]

The cult is very ancient, but it remained dormant for a long period.(We don't know how it existed during the dark ages, and Homer doesn't mention anything). The Linear-B tablets in the labyrinth of Knossos written in Mycenean-Greek are not referring to King Minos, but to the Mistress of the Labyrinth. She is the great mother Sito later called Demeter, while her title in the mysteries is kept by her daughter Percephone (KO-RA).The priests at Delphi were called Labryades (men of the double ax).The double ax was called labrys and gave the name to the labyrinth.Obviously the origin of the cults was Crete.Despoine was a fertility godess in Arkadian mystery cult and is closely identified with the godess Percephonr. It must be noticed that the Mother of God Mary in Greece has the same title des-pina (propably from PIE *dems-pota=absolute ruler). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.65.236.144 (talk) 10:04, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
