Balance...[edit]

It is not simply about how balanced a particular section is, but how it lends itself to the rest of the article. It seems incredible that there would be twice as much about a person's views on Arab and Muslims as there is anything else about his entire life.... This clearly results in an unbalanced BLP. You seem to be a new editor and I'm trying to assume good faith here, so I would caution you to tread carefully... Best, KINGofLETTUCE 👑 🥬 02:09, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You'll find it's quite common where people have made controversial or racist remarks that their views occupy a substantial portion of their page (cf Nick Griffin). These notes on his views are important for understanding his entire output while editor of a newspaper and while making routine appearances.
I think your real issue here is with the title. If you would like to contribute something more lengthy to his record, feel free. But his remarks are fundamental to understanding his work. Zavoot (talk) 10:28, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"Controversial or racist", "his remarks are fundamental to understanding his work", etc. are claims that on their own need to be cited by third-party sources. My real issue here is with your poor understanding of our BLP guidelines. For someone with ten edits, you sure speak like you know it all ("you'll find it's common"...)
