Lindbergh and references to what occurred after Germany conquered Slovakia and Poland

[edit]

Lindbergh and Holocaust Pages

That Lindbergh opposed U.S. intervention from 1938-41, Germans took Slovakia and Poland and large number of Jews were identified and shipped to Auschwitz and other camps is fact. I do not understand why the edit was undone. If someone wanted to modify the language, change the format I can appreciate that. But setting forth the sequence of events to historically evaluate Lindbergh is correct. If someone were writing about the U.S. and said that our constitution treated slaves differently than others, some might not like the reference but it would be appropriate and factual. Again, I welcome any constructive change or suggestion. If this can be done better, and if parts deviate from Wikepedia standards, I welcome editing and clarification. However, one cannot eliminate the Holocaust from discussion of Lindbergh and his role in World War II. Bobby5000 (talk) 16:57, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This is Wikipedia, it should be looked at as an Encyclopedia, which is a reference of facts directly related to specific topics, not an evaluation of history around them. Including specific instances of Lindbergh's anti Semitic views is relevant and necessary in the article, however descriptions of the actions of the Nazis during that time are not. If it is not specifically about Lindbergh, it does not belong in the article. The things you added can be found in articles specifically on WW2, the Nazi party, the Holocaust, etc. Zebidiah27 (talk) 20:40, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
