Hi. First, thank you for taking the plunge as a contributor. I know that it can be and often is difficult to deal with all of our policies and guidelines. Also, as one of the relatively few long-term editors who work extensively with the religious content in general, I can personally say that it is always a pleasure to see someone developing the often rather poorly developed religious content.

Unfortunately, I think at least in the article above, there may be a few issues regarding perhaps unusual weight being given to theories which do not apparently currently receive much academic credence. I would ask you to review the comments on the Talk:Azal (Bible) page for some perceived problems with the article. Specifically, if you can produce a comparatively current independent reliable source that meets the WP:RS guidelines to substantiate that the statements regarding the "finding" of the sight in the 19th century are still given scientific weight, that would be a great help.

And, in general, if you ever have any questions regarding policies and guidelines, I think the links at the top of this page are useful. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to drop me a note on my talk page. I am not an every day editor right now like some others are, but I will respond to such messages as soon as I see them. John Carter (talk) 22:41, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
