Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to American mutilation of Japanese war dead while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Loafiewa (talk) 20:30, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I recently made a formal account. I may have not noticed that I was logged out. I wasn't aware that I was using different fonts when I edited under my previous account. I'm just trying to capitalize words that have a lower case on a proper name. Thanks. ZeerfHound (talk) 20:35, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This goes against the manual of style, as explained at WP:MARINE. Loafiewa (talk) 20:38, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I cut and pasted the capital letter from the actual article. I didn't think that would change the font. ZeerfHound (talk) 20:42, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
When referring to the Marine Corps or an individual US Marine, it is a proper noun and should always be capitalized. ZeerfHound (talk) 20:46, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
