Václav Mottl (May 19, 1914 – June 16, 1982) was a Czechoslovak sprint canoeist who competed in the late 1930s. He won a gold medal in the C-2 10000 m event at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin.

Mottl also won a bronze medal in the C-2 1000 m event at the 1938 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Vaxholm.

He was born and died in Prague.
