Våttahaugen

Våttahaugen is a small hill. The hill is on Lade and has a beautiful view to the Norwegian city Trondheim, and specially the coast (Trondheimskysten). Lade is an area in Trondheim.

Activities

It is a playground on Våttahaugen that children can have fun with. Våttahaugen is surrounded by a small forest which leads to Grønnlia (Lade), so If you are interested in nature and a good view to Trondheim, Våttahaugen is a place for you.

History

During the World War II, Våttahaugen was a central place in the Germans occupation of Norway. They used Våttahaugen to control the costal traffic. The few peoples who livedaround Våttahaugen during the war, got their houses bombed. Våttahaugen has a lot of bunkers, and you can easily see that Våttahaugen was hardly damaged after the war.
