Professor (Dr.) V. K. Agarwal is Vice-Chancellor at Jagan Nath University, Jaipur from 1 May 2012.[1][2][3]

Education

Prof. Agarwal obtained his B.Sc., LL.B. and LL.M. from the University of Delhi. He obtained his Doctorate in Law from Kurukshetra University.

Research

Professor Agarwal has numerous research papers published in leading law journals. He has authored several books:

Career

Prior to his joining as Vice Chancellor of Jagan Nath University in 2012,[6][7][8] he was Director, Institute of Law, Kurukshetra University which he established in 2001 as its Founder Director.[3]

During his tenure as Professor spanning more than 20 years in Kurukshetra University, he has been :

  • Dean, Faculty of Law
  • Chairman, Department of Law
  • Dean, Academic Affairs
  • Registrar

He has also served as Deputy Legal Advisor at the Indian Ministry of Law & Justice and supervised 8 Ph.D. research scholars.[2]
